Tensions between Israelis and Palestinians escalated this week as Palestinian militants in Gaza fired lots of of rockets into Israel, which in flip ramped up airstrikes throughout Gaza.

The militants say they fired their rockets in response to the actions of Israeli police who fired stun grenades contained in the Al-Aqsa mosque, certainly one of Jerusalem’s holiest websites, on Monday morning.
