Dutch leader did not visit dying mother for weeks to comply with coronavirus lockdown


Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte introduced the Cabinet’s resignation in an deal with Friday, saying that duty for the scandal “ultimately rests with the incumbent Cabinet and nowhere else.”

Under the scandal, round 10,000 households within the Netherlands have been advised to repay tens of 1000’s of euros of subsidies after being wrongly accused of kid welfare fraud.

The Dutch premier was clear that monetary compensation for the affected mother and father is the “the first thing that needs to be properly arranged.”

“We will continue to work on quick compensation and the improvements needed for the future.”

Elections for a brand new authorities will happen in mid-March he introduced, saying that till then, the present administration will keep on and “can be expected to do what is necessary in the national interest.”
